Ron Spriggs was the visionary who started Golden Central Speedway, precursor to the thriving Central Motor Speedway we have today. Each year, drivers celebrate what Ron Spriggs achieved – by going racing!

The Ron Spriggs Memorial trophy is hotly contested each year by a wide field – and this year is no exception.

This year the event is sponsored by the Central Motor Speedway Club and we've got some surprises up our sleeve - we're going back to the future to revisit the '80s! The '80s were big - big hair, big shoulder pads, big earrings, big moustaches, and a man with a big dream. We're planning a big throw back to the '80's - this is going to be an event you don't want to miss.

GATES OPEN AT 3.00pm (or earlier if traffic volumes are high) and the RACING ROARS INTO ACTION AT 5.00pm. Get there early to secure your viewing spot in the arena.
