READY TO RACE? WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW.

 speedway information

The season is almost upon us - are you ready?

Drivers:
Green Sheeting Saturday 17th September 9am-3pm, Sunday 18th September 9am-1pm.

Every car that races on the track at Central Motor speedway must have a current green sheet, also known as CVI - Comprehensive Vehicle Inspection. For our new drivers, this is a similar process to getting a WoF - but for your race car. The inspection is comprehensive, so allow plenty of time and don't forget to bring your tools. You'll also need your log book with a photo of the car in it. Questions?  Phone Rolly on 027-772-8189.

Remember - you cannot practice or race until your race vehicle has passed green sheeting!

Official Practice Times are Saturday 17th September 3-6pm and Sunday 18th September 1-5pm.

Check out the Driver information page on our new online Information Hub or download the app (details online) to stay up to date.

Volunteers:
Induction briefing Saturday 17th September 1pm.

This important briefing is held on-site, and is a must to ensure you understand all safety protocols and emergency procedures before the season starts. It's also a great chance to get to know the people you'll be working with.

Thinking of getting in on the action? We still have some exciting volunteer opportunities open. Click here to give us your details, and our wonderful volunteer coordinator Yo will be in touch.

Enjoy the 2022/23 season of racing and fun with Central Motor Speedway in Cromwell.
